WINE AND VINEYARDS
A luxury stay among wine and vineyards, masserie and wineries, with the chance to participate to one of the most interesting periods of the Apulian agriculture, the harvest. The package will allow the visitors to stay in a luxury resort, to know the wineries’ features, the region’s white wine’s and vineyards’ characteristics, the features of Salernto typical rose and red wine. During the harvest the photographic tour will focus on the different stages of the process. The package includes stops in the most beautiful vineyards of Valle d’Itria and of the Gravine Lands, characterized by landscape designs of rare beauty and full of life. The best local wines will be tasted and it will be possible to relax in the SPA with wine therapy treatments with antioxidant properties conferred by grape seeds, rich in polyphenols, vitamins A, B and C, sodium and potassium. This package also includes the service of a professional photographer at complete disposal of the guests to provide not only important input on the most suggestive places to photograph, but also to guarantee a personalized photo shoot so that participants can come back home with a professional photo reportage of their travel experience.

Indicative price per person (calculated on the minimum number of participants): € 4,950
The price includes:
- 3-night stay at Masseria Amastuola with breakfast service;
- 3 lunches with tasting of local products;
- 3 dinners;
- guide and photo tutoring service in Italian / English;
- guide and tour leader.
The fee does not include:
- the national / international flight to reach the meeting point;
anything not indicated in the “price includes”.
DAY 1
- DAY 1 Guests arrivals – welcoming, briefing and wine tasting in masseria amastuola.
- 10 AM-6 PM: participants arrivals and accommodation (Masseria Amastuola – Crispiano TA)
- 6 PM: knowledging of the masseria, of its millennial history and of the vineyard-garden. Aperitif with company wines.
- 7 PM: briefing with the photographer
- 8:30 PM: dinner at Masseria Amastuola
DAY 2
- DAY 2: Valle d’itria: Alberobello and Locorotondo
- 8:30 AM: breakfast at Masseria Amastuola
- 9 AM: briefing with the photographer
- 11 AM: guided walk around Locorotondo and wine tasting Locorotondo is the pearl of Valle d’Itria and the leader of Locorotondo DOP (Denomination of Protected Origin). There are many places and perfumes that tell of this indestructible link between the village, its countryside and viticulture. A walk around the typical village between “cummerse” and pretty alleys, where the colors of the balconies in bloom stand out against the white of the houses. Walking along the “promenade”, the view over the valley is a patchwork of fields, vineyards and olive groves. And here is the “Templars Staircase”: here the terraces include row of grapevines and roses and the aromas and flavors will be enhanced by a tasting organized by the “Rosé” winery.
- 12 o’clock: bike excursion and wine tasting at “I Pastini” winery. The ride continues by bike along the pretty country roads in order to discover Valle d’Itria region, among dry stone walls, trulli and masserie, wheat fields, olive groves, orchards and family gardens. The bike excursion will lead us to “I Pastini” winery: a young but deep-rooted history of winemakers devoted to the recovery of ancient cultivars along the rails of the South-East Railways line. Here we will wait for a tasting of local white wines from Valle d’Itria area. Pic-nic with local typical products. The round trip by bike will let us return to Locorotondo.
- 5 PM: guided walk around Alberobello, UNESCO heritage for is unique trulli. In fact here we can count up to 2000 trulli in a fabulous photographic scenery.
- 7 PM: return to Masseria Amastuola. Photograph lesson and dinner.
DAY 3
- DAY 3: Masseria mita e grottaglie in the land of the gravine..
- 8:30 AM: breakfast at Masseria Amastuola
- 9:30 AM: briefing with the photographer
- 10:30 AM: transfer and harvest of red grapes in Masseria Mita, in the vineyard of the masseria (during september). As an alternative to the harvest period, we will associate the knowledging of the local company to a walk around the monumental olive grove set in a landscape position at the foot of the Apulian Murgia
- 1 PM: local products tasting in Masseria Mita
- 3:30 PM: visit to a craft pottery shop in Grottaglie (“Ceramiche Fasano”)
- 7 PM: return to Masseria Amastuola. Dinner and last overnight stay.
DAY 4
- DAY 4: Naturalistic excursion to leucaspide gravina and return
- 8:30 AM: breakfast at Masseria Amastuola.
- 9 AM: briefing with the photographer.
- 11 AM-8 PM: excursion to the Gravina of Leucaspide to discover the naturalistic characteristics of the Land of Gravine. Return.
